Carole Lovell, Psyd LCSW
is the founder of PGLC. She brings more than 25 years of experience to the dual role of both thearapist and Program Director.  Dr. Lovell specializes in the treatment of trauma and abuse. She sees adults, children and adolescents. She is certified in EMDR, Critical Incident Debriefing, Life Coaching,and Rule 31 Mediator. She is a National and International speaker for mental health conferences.

Daniel H. Donovan, MD
is PGLC'S Medical Director and a Board Certified Psychiatrist and Neurologist. He specializes in ADHD, sleep disorders and headaches of all types. He provides consultation and leadership to the staff

April Norrod, MA
has over 10 years experience working with children and families in the DCS system. She often does child custody evaluations. She is trained in the developmental needs of children and teaches parenting skills to parents, realtives and foster parents.

  Sheila Masters, MEDS LPC
works with children, adult and families in all types of transitions. She is gifted in working with single parents, divorce counseling and parenting techniques. She does court evaluations for custody hearings and works with children in the foster care system.


Mark Lovell, LCSW
works with children and adults and has a special gift in working with the geriatric population.  He works with grief and loss, chronic pain and disabilities. He also has a growing practice in trauma, abuse, domestic violence and anger management.

Dr. Ellis has been a PGLC therapist for 5 years and is an Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Social Work.
He is Certified in the addictions of Substance Abuse, Eating Disorders, Uncontrolled Finances and all types of Dysfunctional Sexual Behaviors. He does home studies for parents preparing to adopt children.


David Eisenmenger, LCSW
has many years experience in both pastoral and lay counseling. He works with adolence, adult and geriatric patients.  He is well known in the area, for his work with relationship and grief counseling. He is also experienced with suicide prevention and Critical Incident Stress Debriefing.

    Tory A. Woodard, PMHNP-BC
is a board certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner.  His education includes a B.S. in Psychology from Tennessee State University, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee University, and a MSN from Vanderbilt University.  Along with the training he has received, Tory utilizes a natural, caring approach to promote
well-being in the client he serves.

Melissa Spaulding
is a certified clinical hypnosis with Rapid Trauma Resolution by the Institute for Survivors of Sexual Violence.

  Chris Paugh, MA has broad
professional experience with children 3 and older and with adolescents and adults. He helps families and individuals to restore harmony in the home, to promote positive parenting techniques, and to resolve symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Susan Freitag, MA 
worked for 9 years in the mental health community prior to joining PGLC staff in 2010. She works with children and adults in the DCS system.  She is trained in EMDR and works wiht traumatized children.

            









   Suzanna Akers EdS MA
        partners with the
Mustard Seed Ranch to provide counseling for foster children in their care.
